Since the Embassy is not competent to issue Belgian driver’s licenses, nor to extend their validity or to replace them, Belgians registered with us must submit their request directly with the Belgian municipality where they were last registered with, according to the Belgian Federal Public Service Mobility:
For the purpose of driver’s license application in the Philippines, kindly refer to the website of the LTO (Land Transportation Office).
Amongst others requirements, you will need to submit a photocopy of your Belgian driver’s license accompanied with its translation into English. Kindly refer to our list of sworn translators under the quick links section of our website (on the right) for that service.
That translation will have to be legalized by the Embassy though, anytime from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Kindly refer to our Tariff section for the payment.
